Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Romania Ilie Bolojan.

The two leaders discussed the aftermath of last night’s russian attack on the joint Orlivka–Isaccea border crossing.

Sergii Koretskyi stressed the need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defences to protect critical infrastructure and ensure public safety.

Particular attention was given to logistics and the development of border infrastructure.

“These areas are especially important given russia’s blockade of the Black Sea region,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine noted.

The Prime Ministers also discussed the completion of several energy projects.

Sergii Koretskyi thanked his Romanian counterpart for all the support Romania provides to Ukraine.
