Prime Minister: Comprehensive community reconstruction continues in Posad-Pokrovske

During his working visit to the Kherson region, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal visited the village of Posad-Pokrovske, where the Government's pilot project of comprehensive restoration is being implemented.

“This year, more than UAH 2.2 billion has been allocated for the restoration of the village,” said Denys Shmyhal.

He said that the construction of 173 new private houses and major repairs of 56 had already begun and were underway, tens of kilometers of pipeline have been laid, more than half a thousand water wells have been installed, and preparations are underway to launch gas supply.

In addition, the Prime Minister emphasized, work on social infrastructure was underway: the construction of the Security Center was being prepared, and the construction of an outpatient clinic had begun.

While discussing the pace of project implementation with representatives of the Kherson Minitary State Administration, the Head of Government emphasized: “It is crucial that every hryvnia is used efficiently and people return to normal life as soon as possible.”
