  • Ambassadors of G7 countries express readiness to participate in monitoring of urban planning reform

    Ambassadors of the G7 countries expressed their readiness to participate in the monitoring of the urban planning reform. This was announced in a joint statement after a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration - Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, relevant deputies, industry experts on the implementation of the reform and the creation of a monitoring group.

    "The G7 ambassadors were interested to hear about the implementation of the urban planning reform, which we will continue to monitor. When implementing the reform, it is essential that the powers of local communities to be preserved," the statement reads.

    As a reminder, Oleksandr Kubrakov invited representatives of the G7 countries and all industry stakeholders (professional associations, business, anti-corruption organizations) to join the creation of a monitoring group that will supervise the implementation of the reform and the development of bylaws necessary for the launch of the law.
