The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MES) has approved another resolution to ensure the introduction of energy service, in particular, at more than 90 facilities of the National Aviation University (NAU).

It concerns the implementation of energy-efficient measures in academic buildings, colleges, dormitories and other NAU buildings.

Energy service will allow to:

- optimize energy consumption in determined facilities;

- save considerable budgetary funds on utility payments;

- to provide comfortable conditions for study and stay for students and teachers.

“The MES's involvement in the ESCO is impressive. It is one of the first central executive bodies to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving and to start the first ESCO procurement for universities”, commented the Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Serhii Savchuk.

Announcement of ESCO tenders for NAU in the ProZorro system are expected in the near future.
