More than 3,200 units of energy equipment have arrived in Ukraine since the beginning of the year
Since the beginning of the year, 3,209 units of energy equipment have arrived in Ukraine. These include generators, transformers, block-modular boiler houses (BMK), cogeneration units (CGU), boilers and more.
The assistance was provided by partners from the EU, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, the USA, Turkey, Finland, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, Czechia, Poland, and Cyprus. Additional support was provided by UNICEF/WASH, PFRU and VOLVO.
More than 1,465 additional generators, 419 transformers and 153 units of other equipment – including boilers, BMKs and CGUs – are expected to be delivered.
Since the beginning of the year, 360 shipments of humanitarian aid with a total weight of over 2,900 tonnes have been sent to the regions. These included 2,357 generators, 55 transformers and 160 units of block-modular boiler houses, cogeneration units and boilers.
Since March 2022, under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy, 2,250 humanitarian shipments of energy equipment have arrived in Ukraine with a total weight of nearly 29,000 tonnes. Of these, more than 26,400 tonnes have already been distributed to the regions.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, energy humanitarian assistance has been provided by 38 countries, including:
