Ukrainians continue to actively use the Winter ePidtrymka (eSupport) programme. More than 5 million applications have already been submitted through Diia for assistance in the amount of UAH 1,000. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during an offsite meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kharkiv region on 5 December.

According to him, it is now possible to receive state aid under the Winter ePidtrymka programme through Ukrposhta. More than 2 million Ukrainians (including recipients of pensions and subsidies) will automatically receive this financial assistance from the state at the offices of the national postal operator.

Another important social programme of the winter support package is Affordable Medicines, which will be expanded by the Government.

“The budget for 2025 allocates UAH 6.6 billion for this programme. This step will allow at least 500,000 more Ukrainians to save money on treatment. For the first time, the programme will include medicines for children,” the Prime Minister stressed.

In addition, according to him, starting next year, all pharmacies will dispense medicines under the Affordable Medicines programme. The Ministry of Health is already preparing the necessary regulatory changes.
