On 5 December, Oleh Nemchinov, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to Ukraine Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos, who has recently started his term.

During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation, in particular in such areas as bilateral trade, reconstruction, involvement of Greek business representatives in the implementation of investment projects in Ukraine, and assistance to Greeks in Ukraine. The parties also discussed preparations for the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Ukrainian-Greek Working Group on Economic, Industrial, Technical and Scientific Cooperation.

“This year we resumed our cooperation in the format of the Intergovernmental Joint Ukrainian-Greek Working Group on Economic, Industrial, Technical and Scientific Cooperation and held its sixth meeting. I am grateful to the Greek side for organising and holding the meeting of the Commission and the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine. We are interested in continuing our work within the framework of the Working Group, including holding its next meeting,” said Oleh Nemchinov.

Upon completion, the parties agreed to continue to implement the protocol of the Working Group and to begin preparations for the next meeting.

To remind, the Intergovernmental Joint Ukrainian-Greek Working Group on Economic, Industrial, Technical and Scientific Cooperation is co-chaired by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece.
