Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi, together with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo, took part in the Ukraine-Finland Business Forum.

"Seven agreements on potential cooperation, worth almost EUR 300 million, were signed as a result," said the Head of Government. "Ukrainian drone makers are exploring the possibility of expanding joint production with Finnish companies in Finland. Employers' associations from both countries plan to set up a Ukraine-Finland Industrial Council. A separate project concerns industrial housing construction."

Finland has also become the first country to give locomotives to Ukrzaliznytsia free of charge. Today, an agreement was signed on the transfer of 10 Dv12 diesel locomotives and spare parts.

"We invited Finland to become a partner of the War Risk Insurance Fund. We also discussed how Ukraine can help Europe build strategic non-commercial gas reserves. We have large spare gas storage capacity and a well-developed gas transmission system," Sergii Koretskyi stressed.

During the bilateral meeting, the sides agreed to share experience in protecting critical infrastructure and had a detailed discussion on Ukraine's need for mobile shelters.

"We count on Finnish companies to become key investors and long-term partners of Ukraine. Together, we can create products, technologies and businesses that will be competitive in Ukraine and across Europe," the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
