In 2025, 4 agricultural producers were granted the first grants in the amount of UAH 28 million. The funds are intended for the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture.
In total, since the launch of the eRobota programme, more than UAH 1.21 billion in grant aid has been paid to 252 agricultural producers for the development of horticulture and greenhouses.
Of this amount, UAH 885.4 million was paid to 196 farms for the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture, of which 180 farms received the funds in full.
UAH 324.8 million was paid to 63 business entities for the development of greenhouse farming. All agricultural producers received the funds in full.
Background information
The Government grant programme has been in place since 1 July 2022 and provides support for small and medium-sized businesses. Among its benefits is the opportunity for everyone to start or develop their own business in the areas of Vlasna Sprava (Own Business), Vlasny Sad (Own Garden), Vlasna Teplytsia (Own Greenhouse), and Novy Riven (New Level).
Grants are provided in the amount of no more than 70% of the project cost, but not more than UAH 10 million. The applicant must finance at least 30% of the project cost with their personal funds or loans. A prerequisite is the employment of the required number of employees. For orchards, from 5 to 10 permanent and 125 to 425 seasonal workers, depending on the type of planting. For greenhouses, at least 4 permanent and 10 seasonal workers per hectare.
In August 2024, the Government expanded the terms of grants for the development of viticulture and horticulture.
Funding for agricultural producers under the government's eRobota programme in 2024-2025 is provided by the World Bank under the Ukraine Agriculture Recovery Inclusive Support Emergency (ARISE).
