The Government has fulfilled its obligations by indexing pension payments in March, which increased by 11.5% for more than 10 million Ukrainians. This was emphasised by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a meeting of the Cabinet on 25 March.

“This brings the average pension to UAH 6,345,” said Denys Shmyhal, adding that all pension payments for March had been made in full.

According to him, the Government fulfils all its social obligations to its citizens and will continue to do so in the future.

“Starting from 1 April, we will automatically index payments for almost 630,000 working pensioners in accordance with their updated insurance record,” said Denys Shmyhal.
