Dear colleagues, fellow Ukrainians!
We are starting a regular meeting of the Government.
Last winter was marked by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Winter Support initiative. It brought together a number of programmes, some of which are still ongoing.
Yesterday, we completed the disbursement of the Winter eSupport – UAH 1,000 to everyone who needed it. 14.4 million people have benefited from the assistance. Ukrainians used the money to pay utility bills, buy Ukrainian medicines and donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This programme was the largest in the country’s history.
Other components of the Winter Support programme are also being successfully implemented.
Under the Warm Winter programme, about 600,000 Ukrainians received child benefit.
We have more than 100,000 applications under the eBook programme, under which payments are ongoing.
Almost 3 million Ukrainian families receive benefits and subsidies for utilities.
500,000 teachers and educators in schools receive additional payments of 1,000 hryvnias.
This month, as promised, pension payments were indexed. Pensions increased by 11.5% for more than 10 million Ukrainians. This brings the average pension to UAH 6,345.
All pensions for March have already been paid. We are strictly fulfilling our social obligations to our citizens and will continue to do so.
Starting from 1 April, we will automatically index payments for almost 630,000 working pensioners in accordance with their updated insurance record.
Another important vector of change is the reform of medical and social expert commissions.
We are reforming the outdated bureaucratic inefficient system. Our goals are to restore human health, give people the opportunity to work, support themselves and their families and provide social assistance to those who really need it.
Currently, 1,440 expert teams are assessing people’s functional capacity. Decisions have already been made for 90,000 people.
The reform is ongoing, the ministries and agencies involved have their own areas of responsibility, work in a coordinated manner and fulfil their tasks.
I am sincerely grateful to the defenders of Ukraine, thanks to whom we are holding the frontline and bringing a just peace closer.
I am grateful to all Ukrainians who contribute to the stability of the state.
We will withstand and rebuild our country!
Glory to Ukraine!
