On December 10, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko met with the Chief of the mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine Alain Aeschlimann.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to ensuring the access to Ukrainian seamen taken prisoners of war on November 25 as a result of Russian aggression against the ships of the Ukrainian Navy in the waters of the Kerch Strait. Alain Aeschlimann emphasized that the ICRC is taking all possible measures to obtain access and provide assistance to Ukrainian naval personnel.

Pavlo Rozenko and Alain Aeschlimann also touched upon issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the ICRC in the context of resolving the fate of all Ukrainian citizens enjailed in the territory of the Russian Federation and ORDLO (certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions), enhanced interaction on the search for missing persons, etc.
