The state budget of Ukraine for 2018 provides for an increase of the minimum superannuation payments - from July 1 and from December 1. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko on the air of The Voice of the Capital radio channel.
As the Vice Prime Minister stressed, from July 1 retirees whose pensions depend on the subsistence minimum will receive updated pensions. "Starting from July 1, the minimum living standard will for people unable to work due to an illness or disability will raise. Over 1 million Ukrainians will get increased retirement payments", the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.
Pavlo Rozenko noted that the next increase of pensions, as envisaged in the state budget, will occur on December 1. "The size of the minimum pension will increase to almost UAH 1,500," he said.
"But if we have additional resource in the Pension Fund budget, we will try to implement certain pension programs on a non-scheduled basis, as we did it in October last year," the Vice Prime Minister underscored.
