Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, posted 19 July 2019 09:46

Due to the initiative of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on decentralization, local communities obtained an opportunity to increase their budgets multifold and allocate additional funds to solve the urgent problems of the residents. Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko said during a visit to Chernivtsi region.

"Currently in the territory of Chernivtsi region, there have been established 35 consolidated territorial communities, which comprised 190 settlements. All communities work successfully, proving they have chosen the right path. Only a few examples. Due to decentralization, Hlybotska CC revenues grew 5.5 times - from UAH 8.5 million in 2015 to UAH 47.2 million last year. Kitsmanska CC demonstrates an increase from UAH 8.9 million in 2016 to UAH 37.9 million last year, or 4.2 times", said the Minister of Justice.

He stressed that this is not just statistics, but real money, which will be invested in road repairs, the construction of kindergartens and outpatient clinics, in solving the most acute problems of citizens.

Besides, the Minister of Justice met with representatives of civil society organizations and active citizens whom he presented the Government's new electronic services.

"The new service on registration of the LLC in the online mode gives the opportunity not only to register a new company but also to re-register the old company using the model statute. In addition, you can remotely specify the name, management type, select activities, increase the share capital and convene a general meeting. Our principal objective is to simplify the life of entrepreneurs and create conditions for additional investment in the Ukrainian economy", said Pavlo Petrenko.

The Minister of Justice also met with mothers who raise their children alone and could not get spousal support payment from ex-husbands for years.

"Spousal support is the money that belongs to the child. Refusal to pay alimony is actually a child abuse, and we can not allow that. That is why the Ministry of Justice and the Government of Volodymyr Groysman have included the project #No Ukrainian Child Left Behind in the agenda of activities", he said.

According to him, since the beginning of this year, 3,868 small Chernivtsy citizens have received UAH 39 million as spousal support. Throughout Ukraine, since the beginning of the year, the executives of the Ministry of Justice provided liquidation debts as spousal support worth over UAH 3.3 billion, and since the introduction of the initiative – to the tune of almost UAH 8 billion.
