Law enforcement agencies engage in forming of new traditions of protecting of citizens and it deserves honour, says the Prime Minister

Law enforcement officers, who are usually the first to ensure the safety of citizens during mass events, are currently forming a new culture and practice of policing, using all available experience. The level of performance of the duties is at the top level, and it deserves gratitude. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during a ceremony of awarding the Cabinet of Ministers honouring signs to the law enforcement officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who were providing public security during the finals of the UEFA Champions League.

"It is crucial for us to ensure people feel safe. And it rests on your shoulders daily", said the Prime Minister appealing to the law enforcement officers. "In the light of the challenges that our state is facing, it is vital to guarantee that the level of security is the highest. And especially when it comes to holding large-scale mass events."

Volodymyr Groysman reminded the level of holding last year the Eurovision contest in Kyiv, the Champions League final and other major international events. The Head of Government thanked the law enforcement officers, "You have manifested the high degree of professionalism".
