The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, conducts strikes, and attacks both military and civilian targets. The enemy is actively using tactical aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

During the day of January 14, there were 86 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 3 missile and 60 air strikes, carried out 45 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. More than 35 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Baranivka, Volfyne, Basivka, Ponomarenky (Sumy oblast), Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka and Petropavlivka (Kharkiv oblast), where the occupiers made unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 assaults near Makiyivka, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhniokamyanske (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made attempts to improve their tactical situation. The vicinities of Bilohorivka, Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast), Vesele (Donetsk oblast) were under air strikes. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 attacks in the vicinities of Andriyivka and Klishchiyivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders launched an air strike near Bohdanivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka (Donetsk oblast). 

Avdiyivka axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiyivka, and 13 more attacks in the vicinities of Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the occupiers, with air support, made unsuccessful attempts to improve their tactical situation. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Novokalynove, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the vicinities of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the adversary, with air support, made 15 failed attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maksymilyanivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

Shakhtarske axis: the adversary conducted no offensives. The invaders launched an air strike in the vicinity of Volodymyrivka (Donetsk oblast). The adversary fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 assaults near Chervone, west of Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). In that area the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground. Around 20 settlements, including Levadne, Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Pyatykhatky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Odesa operational-strategic group, Kherson axis: the adversary fired artillery at the city of Kherson, the settlement Stanislav (Kherson oblast). The vicinities of settlements of Tyahynka, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Mykilske, Sadove, Chornobaivka and Stanislav (Kherson oblast) came under enemy MLRS strikes.

The occupiers do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the enemy made 6 unsuccessful assaults. The Ukrainian troops are holding the line and keep inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

During the day of January 14, the Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 4 concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment. Also, Ukrainian air defense troops shot down 1 Kh-59 air-launched guided missile. 

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 3 concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 1 air defense system, 2 ammunition depots of the russian invaders.
