The russian federation continues to wage war in total disregard of International Humanitarian Law, using terror tactics and causing catastrophies in Ukraine.

During the day of June 8, the adversary launched 1 missile, 27 air strikes, around 30 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. 

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains very high.

The adversary focuses its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka axes, heavy fighting for every square meter of land is ongoing. During the day of June 8, 26 combat engagements took place in the above-mentioned areas of the frontline.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were found. Certain units of the russian Armed Forces continue their deployment at the training grounds of the republic of belarus.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy reinforces its group engaged in border protection with units of territorial troops. During the day of June 8, the enemy launched air strikes on the settlements of Myropillya, Sinne, and Severynivka (Sumy oblast). The invaders fired mortars and artillery at the settlements of Atynske, Bezsalivka, Myropillya, Ponomarenky (Sumy oblast), Krasne, Morokhovets, Lukyantsi, Starytsya, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, and Chuhunivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the adversary fired artillery and mortars at Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast), and Novoselivske (Luhansk oblast).

Lyman axis: during the day of June 8, the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Vesele (Donetsk oblast). Makiyivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhniokamyanske, Torske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the adversary attempted to improve its tactical situation and conducted offensive operations towards Ivanivske. To no success. The adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of settlement of Bila Hora (Donetsk region). Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk, and Pivnichne (Donetsk oblast) came under enemy artillery fire.

Avdiyivka axis: the adversary made unsuccessful attempts to advance near the settlements of Sjeverne and Opytne. Russian forces launched air strikes in the vicinity of Avdiyivka. The occupant forces fired artillery at the vicinities of settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinity of the city of Maryinka. The enemy suffered losses. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery in the vicinities of Maryinka, Pobjeda, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Shakhtarske, Zolota Nyva, and Vremivka (Donetsk Oblast).

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary stays on the defensive. russians launched an air strike in the vicinity of Hulyaipole (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The invaders fired artillery at Burlatske, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, Temyrivka (Donetsk oblast), Olhivske, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Beryslav, Antonivka (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson.

In the settlements of the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson oblast, the russian occupiers continue to leverage the aftermath of their crime. In particular, evacuees from the flooded settlements are being accommodated in boarding houses and recreation centers where military units are already deployed. This is the invaders’ attempt to protect themselves by hiding behind civilians.

According to the available information, the russian military leadership has significant problems with the supply of materiel for its troops. Soldiers who have recently signed contracts in military units stationed in Volgograd (russia) have been issued boots instead of high-ankle boots. In addition, contract service soldiers are being forced to buy uniforms at their own expense.

During the day of June 8, Ukrainian Air Force launched 18 air strikes at the concentrations of troops and 2 - at the anti-aircraft missile system of the adversary. 

During the day of June 8, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 5 command posts, 6 concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 2 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8 artillery units at firing positions and 2 other important enemy targets.
