Day 557 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the day of September 2, the enemy launched 2 missile and 49 air strikes, 66 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

During the day of September 2, there were 30 combat engagements.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. 

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of Chuhunivka (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired mortars and artillery at more than 30 settlements, including Khrinivka, Karpovychi, Leonivka, Hremyach (Chernihiv oblast), Znob-Trubchevska, Kysla Dubyna, Kindrativka, Vodolahy, Zapsillya, Turya (Sumy oblast), Verkhnya Pysarivka, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, Budarky, Hryhorivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of Miasozharivka (Kharkiv oblast). Kamyanka and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast) came under enemy artillery fire.

Lyman axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Novoiehorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Cherneshchyna (Kharkiv oblast), Novoiehorivka, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), and Spirne (Donetsk oblast). The adversary fired artillery at more than 15 settlements, including Makiyivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Hryhorivka, Siversk, Zvanivka, Spirne, Fedorivka, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Khromove, Ivanivske, Stupochky, and Bila Hora (Donetsk oblast). More than 20 settlements, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Chervone, Druzhba, and New York (Donetsk oblast), suffered artillery shelling. 

Avdiyivka axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the area east of Sieverne (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Nevelske, Sieverne, Novooleksandrivka, Keramik, Berdychi (Donetsk oblast).

Mar’inka axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the area south of Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Vuhledar and Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery at Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Shakhtarske, Zolota Nyva, Urozhaine, and Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The enemy fired artillery at more than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Olhivske, Charivne, Pavlivka, Kamyanske, Plavni (Zaporizhzhia oblast), and Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk oblast).

Kherson axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Odradokamyanka and Olhivka (Kherson oblast). More than 15 settlements suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Sablukivka, Odradokamyanka, Lvove, Mykilske, Romashkove and Veletenske (Kherson oblast).

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct the offensive operation on Melitopol axis, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery fire.

During the day of September 2, Ukrainian Air Force launched 10 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, as well as 3 air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the adversary.

During the day of September 2, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 6 concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 12 artillery systems at their firing positions, 2 ammunition depots, 2 command posts, and 1 anti-aircraft missile system of the adversary.
