Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 14, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 4,640 (531 children out of this number, 95 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 10,987,963 vaccines have been made.

The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 6,028,879. On September 14, 2021, 141,796 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 35,118 - CoronaVac vaccine, 50,799 – Comirnaty vaccine,
17,305 – AstraZeneka, Janssen –0, Moderna – 38,574.

Vaccination was carried out by 939 mobile immunization teams, 2,929 vaccination points and 326 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,609 persons, 93 patients died, 1,858 persons recovered. There have been conducted 75,431 testings (33,878 using the PCR method, 8,562 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 32,991).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,325,796 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,225,130 people recovered;
  • 54,550 people died;
  • 12,342,907 testings have been conducted.
