Urgent for the development of Ukrainian business are the issues of establishing of transparent and equal rules for doing business, protection of domestic producers, support and extending of export opportunities. This and other issues were discussed during the meeting of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko with representatives of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP).

The event was also attended by the Executive Director of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Kateryna Glazkova, Deputy Ministers of Economy Iryna Novikova and Ihor Dyadyura, other representatives of business and the Ministry of Economy.

"Our goal is to reach systemic solutions for the implementation of the National Economic Strategy 2030 through the consideration of targeted issues. This strategy contains ambitious goals to increase GDP by 1% annually and create 350,000 new jobs. In this regard, I see two promising areas for business: to join the implementation of the matrix of economic growth through close cooperation with regional authorities and the development of production, investment in Ukraine. Business is looking for where is better. Therefore, we must create conditions for Ukrainian business to engage in the systematic growth of investment in the regions. And also to change the approach: Ukrainian investments are independent," Oleksiy Lyubchenko said.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, the Government maintains a constant dialogue with business and appreciates the initiative coming from entrepreneurs. Useful legislative novelties for enterprises’ development have recently been introduced, in particular, laws on industrial parks and so-called "investment parks". The Ministry of Economy is open to dialogue and the creation of a communication platform on an ongoing basis.

"Ukrainian business advocates the introduction of transparent and equal rules of the game and simplification of doing business. We also hope that the state will support entrepreneurs this time as well, if a decision is made to introduce strict quarantine and terminate activities. I want to emphasize that we feel significant support, readiness for dialogue and constructive cooperation on all issues from the Ministry of Economy," said during the meeting the Executive Director of the SUP Kateryna Glazkova.

Also during the meeting, the parties discussed topical sectoral questions from entrepreneurs, in particular, an industrial visa regime, expanding export opportunities and support for Ukrainian exporters at the state level, introduction of "mirror" methods of protection of domestic producers, as well as the inclusion of individual investment projects to the scope of projects with significant investment.
