Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 24, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 937 (33 children out of this number, 24 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,229,165 people have been vaccinated.

On June 24, 2021, 79,921 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 20,708 – CoronaVac vaccine, 35,113– Comirnaty vaccine, 24,100 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 559 persons, 58 patients died, 2,471 persons recovered. There have been conducted 54,343 testings (22,496 using the PCR method, 11,418 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 20,429).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

2,231,914 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

2,157,732 people recovered;

52,181 people died;

10,739,672 testings have been conducted.
