  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 18, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 13,357 (539 children out of this number, 673 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1531 persons, 257 patients died, 7400 persons recovered. There have been conducted 65402 testing (40,585 using the PCR method and 24,817 using the ELISA method).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 583,510 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 266,479 people recovered;
    • 10,369 people died;
    • 4,062,868 testing have been conducted.

    The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1348 cases), Dnipropetrovsk region (1128), Kyiv region (786), Zaporizhia region (748), Cherkasy region (726).

    Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
