
Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of October 31, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 13,936 (905 children out of this number, 111 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 17,695, 591 vaccines have been made.
The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 10,245,775. On October 30, 2021, 117,818 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 40,489- CoronaVac vaccine, 58,603– Comirnaty vaccine, 18,726 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 0.
Vaccination was carried out by 631 mobile immunization teams, 2,044 vaccination points and 423 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,828 persons, 298 patients died, 5,885 persons recovered. There have been conducted 63,343 testings (29,021 using the PCR method,
7,648 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 26,674).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,936,238 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2,442,098 people recovered;
- 68,027 people died;
- 14,455,647 testings have been conducted.
