Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 11, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 24,058 (1,616 children out of this number, 468 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 20,408,409 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 11,986,077 people have been vaccinated. On November 11, 2021, 279,136 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 117,169 – CoronaVac vaccine, 141,366 – Comirnaty vaccine, 19,277 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 1,324.

Vaccination was carried out by 1,114 mobile immunization teams, 3,181 vaccination points and 428 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 4,318 persons, 750 patients died, 21,941 persons recovered. There have been conducted 128,108 testings (61,714 using the PCR method,
17,057 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 49,337).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,179,577 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,594,679 people recovered;
  • 75,607 people died;
  • 15,128,821 testings have been conducted.
