  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 7, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 2,772 (254 children out of this number, 46 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 10,073,041 vaccines have been made.

    The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 5,666,019. On September 7, 2021, 149,618 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 32,782 - CoronaVac vaccine, 54,012 – Comirnaty vaccine, 8,049 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 54,775.

    Vaccination was carried out by 968 mobile immunization teams, 2,986 vaccination points and 335 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,017 persons, 60 patients died, 1,411 persons recovered. There have been conducted 67,391 testings (28,990 using the PCR method, 8,110 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 30,291).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,303,276 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,216,017 people recovered;
    • 54,114 people died;
    • 12,160,175 testings have been conducted.
