Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 24, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 876 (36 children out of this number, 32 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,325,345 people have been vaccinated.

On June 24, 2021, 96,180 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 4 people got CoviShield vaccine, 27,361 – CoronaVac vaccine, 47,101– Comirnaty vaccine, 21,714 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 489 persons, 53 patients died, 2,405 persons recovered. There have been conducted 45,720 testings (19,481 using the PCR method, 9,160 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 17,079).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

2,232,790 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

2,160,137 people recovered;

52,234 people died;

10,759,153 testings have been conducted.
