
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 23, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 835 (33 children out of this number, 25 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,149,244 people have been vaccinated.
On June 23, 2021, 53,786 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 20 people got CoviShield vaccine, 15,545 – CoronaVac vaccine, 14,964– Comirnaty vaccine, 23,257 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 419 persons, 70 patients died, 2,292 persons recovered. There have been conducted 48,197 testings (26,280 using the PCR method, 8,135 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 13,782).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
2,230,977 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
2,155,261 people recovered;
52,123 people died;
10,717,176 testings have been conducted.
