  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of August 1, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 265 (11 children out of this number, 1 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 5,632,783 vaccines have been made.

    On August 1, 2021, 3,599,169 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 10,672 - CoronaVac vaccine, 10,116 – Comirnaty vaccine, 652 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 16,640.

    Vaccination was carried out by 207 mobile immunization teams, 430 vaccination points and 296 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 385 persons, 4 patients died, 176 persons recovered. There have been conducted 17,047 testings (8,854 using the PCR method, 1,776 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 6,417).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,253,534 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,187,170 people recovered;
    • 52,955 people died;
    • 11,404,184 testings have been conducted.
