Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of February 7, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 34,353 (3,095 children out of this number, 955 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,782,527 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,478,008 people have been vaccinated. On February 7, 2022, 63,919 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 10,296 – CoronaVac vaccine, 47,708 – Comirnaty vaccine, 800 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 5,115.

Vaccination was carried out by 913 mobile immunization teams, 3,189 vaccination points and 428 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,168 persons, 255 patients died, 15,193 persons recovered. There have been conducted 131,881 testings (68,778 using the PCR method, 5,358 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 57,745).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 4,341,790 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 3,696,285 people recovered;
  • 101,647 people died;
  • 18,672,736 testings have been conducted.
