Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 6, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 610 (40 children out of this number, 20 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,092,168 people have been vaccinated.

On July 5, 2021, 93,554 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 32,977 - CoronaVac vaccine, 43,750 – Comirnaty vaccine, 16,827 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 458 persons, 33 patients died, 1,666 persons recovered. There have been conducted 46,168 testings (20,240 using the PCR method, 9,189 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 16,739).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,238,974 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,174,353 people recovered;
  • 52,537 people died;
  • 10,965,456 testings have been conducted.
