
Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of February 2, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 39,620 (4,446 children out of this number, 1,035 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,514,023 vaccines have been made.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,396,725 people have been vaccinated. On February 2, 2022, 73,195 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 10,013 – CoronaVac vaccine, 56,911 – Comirnaty vaccine, 969 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 5,302.
Vaccination was carried out by 922 mobile immunization teams, 3,182 vaccination points and 429 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 4,136 persons, 210 patients died, 9,380 persons recovered. There have been conducted 190,635 testings (101,202 using the PCR method, 7,505 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 81,928).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 4,169,897 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 3,650,854 people recovered;
- 100,809 people died;
- 18,308,056 testings have been conducted.
