  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 27, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 846 (60 children out of this number, 41 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign5,225,458 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,350,502 people have been vaccinated. On July 27, 2021, 143,534 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 32,769 – CoronaVac vaccine, 37,830 – Comirnaty vaccine, 22,890 – AstraZeneka, 19 – Janssen, Moderna – 50,026.

    Vaccination was carried out by 812 mobile immunization teams, 2,787 vaccination points and 384 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 480 persons, 25 patients died, 510 persons recovered. There have been conducted 42,504 testings (19,582 using the PCR method, 7,962 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 14,960).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,250,907 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,185,849 people recovered;
    • 52,916 people died;
    • 11,341,529 testings have been conducted.
