
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 26, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 3,007 (286 children out of this number, 32 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 12,240,363 vaccines have been made.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 6,781,527 people have been vaccinated. On September 26, 2021, 37,153 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 9,145 – CoronaVac vaccine, 21,914 – Comirnaty vaccine, 6,094 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 0.
Vaccination was carried out by 308 mobile immunization teams, 1,119 vaccination points and 357 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,478 persons, 94 patients died, 952 persons recovered. There have been conducted 26,912 testings (13,202 using the PCR method, 2,688 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 11,022).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,395,404 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2,245,144 people recovered;
- 55,720 people died;
- 12,710,080 testings have been conducted.
