  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 21, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 726 (54 children out of this number, 22 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign4 399 756 people have been vaccinated.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,843,899 people have been vaccinated. On July 21, 2021, 120,090 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 38,836 – CoronaVac vaccine, 45,338 – Comirnaty vaccine, 24,474 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 11,442.

    Vaccination was carried out by 655 mobile immunization teams, 2,280 vaccination stations and 127 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 402 persons, 21 patients died, 501 persons recovered. There have been conducted 43,267 testings (20,724 using the PCR method, 7,749 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 14,794).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2 246 656 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2 183 003 people recovered;
    • 52 790 people died;
    • 11 221 402 testings have been conducted.
