  • The minimum pensions of combatants increased by 45%

    As a result of the decision elaborated by the Ministry of Social Policy and adopted by the Government, the minimum pension payment for combatants increased by 45% (or UAH 834.3). It is now 210% of the subsistence level, for people who have lost their capability, instead of the previously set 165%.

    Also, the Government upped pensions for servicemen by UAH 2,000, assigned until March 1, 2018, and established from July 1 a minimum pension payment taking into account allowances, increases, surcharges to persons to whom it is granted under the military law of Ukraine (pensions for years of service, disability pensions) in the amount of UAH 3,854.

    As a result of this decision, pensions increase for 400 thousand people. Improved pensions will be paid in August with a supplement to the increased amounts for July.
