  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 21, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 296 (22 children out of this number, 2 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,095,458 people have been vaccinated.

    On June 21, 2021, 8,966 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 10 people got CoviShield vaccine, 4,527 – CoronaVac vaccine, 3,100– Comirnaty vaccine, 1,329 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 318 persons, 21 patients died, 829 persons recovered. There have been conducted 17,429 testings (11,881 using the PCR method, 1,448 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 4,100).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    2,230,142 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

    2,152,969 people recovered;

    52,053 people died;

    10,690,896 testings have been conducted.
