According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 18, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 967 (32 children out of this number, 6 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,989,398 people have been vaccinated.
On June 17, 2021, 81,713 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 236 people got CoviShield vaccine, 27,350 – CoronaVac vaccine, 34,588– Comirnaty vaccine, 19,539 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 585 persons, 50 patients died, 2,312 persons recovered. There have been conducted 51,199 testings (25,888 using the PCR method, 9,342 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 15,969).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
2,228,192 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
2,147,972 people recovered;
51,952 people died;
10,629,744 testings have been conducted.
