Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 12, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 1,205 (149 children out of this number, 23 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 10,710,944 vaccines have been made.

The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 5,906,742. On September 12, 2021, 45,148 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 7,813 - CoronaVac vaccine, 18,168 – Comirnaty vaccine, 2,979 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 800, Moderna – 15,388.

Vaccination was carried out by 300 mobile immunization teams, 1,004 vaccination points and 353 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 833 persons, 18 patients died, 758 persons recovered. There have been conducted 21,474 testings (10,668 using the PCR method, 1,659 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 9,147).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,317,824 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,221,868 people recovered;
  • 54,360 people died;
  • 12,279,748 testings have been conducted.
