Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal took part in the opening of the Leadership Begins with You forum. In his address, the Head of Government congratulated the students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy on the beginning of the academic year.

"The main thing is to feel your place in this world and to be what is close to your heart," wrote the Ukrainian classicist Hryhoriy Skovoroda. All of you have got a chance to choose your professional path and become real leaders in chosen areas. Be interesting, be creative. I wish you to become real leaders, to overcome challenges, to create Ukraine," the Prime Minister said.

Denys Shmyhal stressed that fostering leadership is a critical thing because usually, it is the leaders who become the driving force of change - the more leaders the country has, the more successful Ukraine will be.

The Ukrainian Leadership Academy is a program of personal and social development, the main element of which is a 10-month training course for high school graduates. The program of the Academy is based on a combination of elements of physical, emotional and intellectual development based on values. During 2015-2021, 1,048 graduates and more than 180 students, who will begin their studies this year, have studied at ULA.
