  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 1, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 2,137 (91 children out of this number, 56 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,161,518 people have been vaccinated.

    On May 31, 2021, 13,937 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 1,090 people got CoviShield vaccine, 10,964 – CoronaVac vaccine, 1,813 – Comirnaty vaccine, 70 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 579 persons, 163 patients died, 12,085 persons recovered. There have been conducted 51,964 testings (26, 468 using the PCR method, 11,271 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 14,225).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,204,631 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,053,167 people recovered;
    • 50,699 people died;
    • 10,207,245 testing have been conducted.
