Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 07, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 13,068 (790 children out of this number, 145 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 19,344,335 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 11,406,284 people have been vaccinated. On November 07, 2021, 85,083 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 36,022 – CoronaVac vaccine, 40,483 – Comirnaty vaccine, 8,578 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 0.

Vaccination was carried out by 585 mobile immunization teams, 1,822 vaccination points and 427 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,532 persons, 473 patients died, 8,200 persons recovered. There have been conducted 63,858 testings (29,497 using the PCR method, 6,547 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 27,814).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,088,501 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,520,956 people recovered;
  • 72,557 people died;
  • 14,876,584 testings have been conducted.
