Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 4, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 26,488 (1,654 children out of this number, 488 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 18,848,929 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 11,086,047 people have been vaccinated. On November 4, 2021, 270,329 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 129,567 – CoronaVac vaccine, 107,910 – Comirnaty vaccine, 32,843 – AstraZeneka, 0– Janssen, Moderna – 0

Vaccination was carried out by 1,056 mobile immunization teams, 3,186 vaccination points and 424 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 5,497 persons, 696 patients died, 13,281 persons recovered. There have been conducted 148,001 testings (71,870 using the PCR method, 21,173 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 54,958).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,032,951 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,492,419 people recovered;
  • 70,842 people died;
  • 14,730,826 testings have been conducted.
