Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal called on Ukrainians to be vaccinated against COVID-19 during the Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada.
Answering questions from lawmakers, Denys Shmyhal stressed that he also got vaccinated with two doses and demonstrated a domestic COVID certificate in his smartphone.
"I got vaccinated in June this year as part of the vaccination of organized groups together with employees of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers. I have domestic and international certificates. My family is also vaccinated with different vaccines. After all, all vaccines available in Ukraine are safe. I urge Ukrainians to be vaccinated: both MPs and all citizens of Ukraine," the Prime Minister said.
Earlier, Denys Shmyhal reported that a total of 9 million doses of the vaccine are available in the regions. By the end of the year, according to the PM, Ukraine will receive almost 19 million doses.
