Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 3, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 2,581 (122 children out of this number, 129 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,214,883 people have been vaccinated.
On June 2, 2021, 34,481 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 1,540 people got CoviShield vaccine, 15,925 – CoronaVac vaccine, 17,016 – Comirnaty vaccine, 0 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,059 persons, 102 patients died, 9,519 persons recovered. There have been conducted 58,729 testings (26,468 using the PCR method, 11,308 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 20,593).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,209,417 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2,072,091 people recovered;
- 50,959 people died;
- 10,261,649 testing have been conducted.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
