  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of 9:00 a.m. on June 11, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 29,070 COVID-19 cases, 854 patients died, 13,141 people recovered. During the 24 hours, 689 new cases have been confirmed.

    A total of 456,509 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method and 60,135 samples using ELISA method.

    As of June 11, coronavirus disease was registered:

    Vinnytsia region – 1,236 cases (808 recovered);

    Volyn region – 1,266 cases (330 recovered);

    Dnipropetrovsk region - 981 cases (695 recovered);

    Donetsk region - 269 cases (122 recovered);

    Zhytomyr region - 992 cases (540 recovered);

    Zakarpattia region – 1,471 cases (634 recovered);

    Zaporizhia region – 510 cases (303 recovered);

    Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1,649 cases (992 recovered);

    Kirovohrad region - 563 cases (447 recovered);

    Kyiv – 3,671 cases (1,053 recovered);

    Kyiv region – 1,919 cases (616 recovered);

    Lviv region – 2,414 cases (589 recovered);

    Luhansk region - 54 cases (44 recovered);

    Mykolaiv region - 311 cases (203 recovered);

    Odesa region – 1,045 cases (421 recovered);

    Poltava region - 276 cases (256 recovered);

    Rivne region – 2,175 cases (1,164 recovered);

    Sumy region - 203 cases (159 recovered);

    Ternopil region – 1,313 cases (987 recovered);

    Kharkiv region – 1,349 cases (995 recovered);

    Kherson region – 179 cases (173 recovered);

    Khmelnytsky region - 523 cases (355 recovered);

    Chernivtsi region – 3,793 cases (1,176 recovered);

    Cherkasy region - 506 cases (348 recovered);

    Chernihiv region - 341 cases (81 recovered).

    Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
