
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 24, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 14,496 (745 children out of this number, 614 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 375,374.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,739 persons, 243 patients died, 15,372 persons recovered. There have been conducted 72,678 testing (47,172 using the PCR method and 25,506 using the ELISA method).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 772,760 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 384,426 people recovered;
- 12,960 people died;
- 4,654,206 testing have been conducted.
The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1,364), Zaporizhia region (1,060 cases), Odesa region (935), Kyiv region (924), and Kharkiv region (906).
