Аccording to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of August 3, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 75,158 COVID-19 cases, 39,876 people recovered, 1,738 patients died. During the 24 hours, 990 new cases have been confirmed.

A total of 1 067 006 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method. During the 24 hours, 333 people have recovered.

As of August 3, coronavirus disease was registered:

• Vinnytsia region – 2, 815 cases;
• Volyn region – 3,949 cases;
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,438 cases;
• Donetsk region - 898 cases;
• Zhytomyr region – 1,948 cases;
• Zakarpattia region – 5,318 cases;
• Zaporizhia region – 846 cases;
• Ivano-Frankivsk region – 4,914 cases;
• Kirovohrad region - 711 cases;
• Kyiv – 8,554 cases;
• Kyiv region – 3,845 cases;
• Lviv region – 9,921 cases;
• Luhansk region - 128 cases;
• Mykolaiv region - 642 cases;
• Odesa region – 3,482 cases;
• Poltava region - 459 cases;
• Rivne region – 6,270 cases;
• Sumy region – 541;
• Ternopil region – 3,113;
• Kharkiv region – 3,950;
• Kherson region – 230;
• Khmelnytsky region – 1,189;
• Chernivtsi region – 6,143;
• Cherkasy region – 954;
• Chernihiv region – 900.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
