According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of August 18, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 94,436 COVID-19 cases, 48,925 people recovered, 2,116 patients died. During the 24 hours, 1,616 new cases have been officially confirmed.

A total of 1,315,409 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method. During the 24 hours, 761 patient have recovered.

As of August 18, coronavirus disease was registered:

• Vinnytsia region – 3, 272 cases;
• Volyn region – 4,792 cases;
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,772 cases;
• Donetsk region – 1,100 cases;
• Zhytomyr region – 2,497 cases;
• Zakarpattia region – 6,435 cases;
• Zaporizhia region – 1,154 cases;
• Ivano-Frankivsk region – 6,959 cases;
• Kirovohrad region - 746 cases;
• Kyiv – 10,730 cases;
• Kyiv region – 4,620 cases;
• Lviv region – 12,260 cases;
• Luhansk region - 185 cases;
• Mykolaiv region - 832 cases;
• Odesa region – 5,158 cases;
• Poltava region - 565 cases;
• Rivne region – 7,828 cases;
• Sumy region – 966;
• Ternopil region – 3,902;
• Kharkiv region – 6,360;
• Kherson region – 304;
• Khmelnytsky region – 1,628;
• Chernivtsi region – 7,954;
• Cherkasy region – 1,167;
• Chernihiv region – 1,250.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
