According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of August 12, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 84,548 COVID-19 cases, 45, 686 people recovered, 1,970 patients died. During the 24 hours, 1,433 new cases have been confirmed.

A total of 1 214 941 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method. During the 24 hours, 752 people have recovered.

As of August 12, coronavirus disease was registered:

• Vinnytsia region – 3, 043 cases;
• Volyn region – 4,423 cases;
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,602 cases;
• Donetsk region – 1,011 cases;
• Zhytomyr region – 2,215 cases;
• Zakarpattia region – 5,946 cases;
• Zaporizhia region –971 cases;
• Ivano-Frankivsk region – 6,039 cases;
• Kirovohrad region - 728 cases;
• Kyiv – 9,869 cases;
• Kyiv region – 4,307 cases;
• Lviv region – 11,308 cases;
• Luhansk region - 160 cases;
• Mykolaiv region - 744 cases;
• Odesa region – 4,458 cases;
• Poltava region - 514 cases;
• Rivne region – 7,114 cases;
• Sumy region – 716;
• Ternopil region – 3,413;
• Kharkiv region – 5,169;
• Kherson region – 276;
• Khmelnytsky region – 1,413;
• Chernivtsi region – 6,980;
• Cherkasy region – 1,049;
• Chernihiv region – 1,080.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
