The funds will be distributed among local budgets to ensure the implementation of 243 projects under the Emergency Credit Program for the Rehabilitation of Ukraine for 2020.

The relevant decision was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at a meeting on August 12.

"The program is focused primarily on the regions that received the largest number of migrants, so the funds will be mostly directed to local budgets in Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and other regions," stressed Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister added that the Government continues to implement the President's initiative "Great Construction" program and creates all the necessary conditions to ensure the process be prolonged smoothly.

On the outcomes of the meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers also approved draft orders on the allocation of land areas in Kharkiv and Poltava regions for the overhaul of the public highway Kyiv - Kharkiv - Dovzhansky.

"This is not a drastic decision, but an integral part of the process to complete the project as soon as possible, to provide an opportunity for the people to drive along roads of world and European quality," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
